BUDDY
As a Buddy at Night to Shine, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our honored guests have an unforgettable experience. Individuals over the age of 14 are welcome to volunteer/be a buddy.
Each guest is paired with a Buddy who will stay by their side throughout the entire evening, providing companionship, support, and care. Your responsibilities may include assisting with meals, restroom breaks, and making sure your guest feels comfortable and safe at all times.
This role is incredibly important, as you'll be the main point of contact for your guest, helping them fully enjoy the night. We ask that you take this responsibility seriously, as you’ll be representing the work of the partnering churches and the Night to Shine Foundation.
Volunteers over the age of 18 must complete and pass a background check (provided at no cost) to serve as a Buddy. Your commitment as a Buddy will make a lasting impact on the lives of our guests, and we deeply appreciate your dedication.
